serving together

  • Feed My Sheep Food Pantry

We package balanced, filling meals and distribute them to whoever knocks on our door--no questions asked.  This ministry allows us to directly feed and build meaningful relationships with people in need in our community.  If you would like to contribute, this ministry is supported through donations of non-perishable food items and gifts from our Amazon wishlist.

  • Uptown Community Services Center

The Met is a founding partner of Uptown Community Service Center, a non-profit organization in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego that provides services to over 2,000 homeless and very-low income persons each year.  We collect donated items for Uptown and maintain a connection through Rev. Alisan Rowland, staff clergy at The Met and Director of Uptown.

  • Hospitality

The hospitality team is responsible for making sure that we have coffee, tea, and (many!) snacks to share during our social hour after each Sunday service.  We are always looking for extra helping hands!

  • Bookstore

The Met's bookstore offers a wide variety of fun and interesting items, including books, Bibles, rosaries, Met merch, and Scrip gift cards!  We encourage you to check out our bookstore and meet our longtime bookstore manager, Fred Ihler.  Shopping at the bookstore is a great way to support The Met!
